Our Solution is a homogenous blend of colloids, sequestrants, surfactants, and
hyper wetting agents that, by a proprietary process of formulation and
concentration, becomes super-active. This colloidal based cleaner has a remarkable
ability to penetrate and disperse oil, grease and dirt, hold it in suspension
and prevent it from re-depositing on a surface.
WHAT ARE COLLOIDS? Colloids are sub-microscopic particles called micelles, about one
ten-millionth of a centimeter in size. The physical action in colloids is
electrical in nature. Each end of a micelle has an opposite charge,
producing a random motion of micelles when in solution. One end is
hydrophilic (having an affinity for water) while the other is hydrophobic (antagonistic
to water). These electrically charged particles continue to repel each
other in a ceaseless random movement.
HOW DO COLLOIDS WORK? When a micelle comes in contact with hydrocarbon molecules (oil), or other
highly viscous and sticky materials, it penetrates and locks the substance in
colloidal suspension. This disrupts the attraction to the other
hydrocarbons (or other sticky substances) and lifts it from the surface to
which it is adhering. This action is simultaneously multiplied by billions
of other micelles, so that the undesirable material is dispersed into
individual particles that do not have the ability to redeposit. When this
reaction occurs, the dirt and oil particles become so diffused throughout
the mixture, that it begins to take on the characteristics of a water
soluble solution. This explains why "Our Solution" has the
cleaning ability of soaps, detergents and solvents, yet none of the
harmful side effects.
The days are gone when chemicals, detergents, soap and effluent can be dumped
in the water, flushed down drains and otherwise carelessly disposed of.
